The thought of creating the first blog post is extremely nerve wrecking.
I honestly don’t feel right posting any outfit without the proper pictures to
showcase the style, so I decided against posting either of the two I’ve had
photographed this weekend. Instead, I came up with the idea to share
a few photos from my portfolio. It’s a work in progress, but it does provide a
visual of what I’m capable of.
I am an amateur stylist who has a
very long way to go, however I was lucky enough to hook up with my photographer
friend who went to my school and we were able to produce the shots above. I
believe you won't grow unless you start, so we got together in a garage and used
the clothes that could fit and actually produced good work if you ask me.
The concept was ‘Denim Days’ where
denim was portrayed in different moods; one tough, one comfy, and one just
simple. Our model was natural, so we used that to keep things light and simple.
I would ultimately say it was a good start, but I’m also ready to see how far I can
grow and what all I have the ability to create.
